Oil Paintings — Fullerton, CA
Based out of Fullerton, CA, with consistent local engagement from Southern Orange County to Los Angeles. My medium of preference is oil, and my process includes internal visualization, sketching, and using photographs to build the image before painting.
Self-taught artist with no formal education. Through time and consistent work I continue to expand the horizons on the perception of my skill. At 28 I began experimenting with multiple mediums before revisiting oil at age 32. My years of experience with other mediums compounded and fell into place once I returned home.
I manufacture frequencies of thought, emotion, and experience on the canvas that can't be verbally expressed. They can only be felt and understood through visual representation. Using oil as my medium, I tell a story that's been lived by all of us, using a variant of figures, animals, and landscapes to play their roles.
